But it&#8217;s the most common and there should be a reason for that. Now we&#8217;ll answer the question that brought you here.<\/p>\n<p>Namely &#8211; How to add Google Analytics to WordPress.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Step 1: Get the Google Analytics Track ID code<\/h2>\n<p>We know that feeling. You are just trying to build a website. With WordPress! What does it mean code?! You are not familiar with any Programming Language. Also, we claimed that building a website with WordPress will not demand any development skills. Don&#8217;t feel betrayed. Just follow the steps. It will be alright, we promise!<\/p>\n<p>In order to receive the code from Google Analytics, you should have an account on the Google Network. You can create it on every one of their websites.<\/p>\n<p>Just don&#8217;t do it on YouTube. After a few hours, you could be still there. Learning how to\u00a0make better conversation with your pet.<\/p>\n<p>If you already have an account just go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/\">Google Analytics Signup Page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Click the Sign Up Button.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/google-analytics-sign-up.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/google-analytics-sign-up.png\" alt=\"How to Add Google Analytics to WordPress\" width=\"1918\" height=\"657\" \/><\/a>A registration form will appear. The easiest way to integrate the Track ID code is by using a plugin. If you have never installed a plugin &#8211; here is <a href=\"\/wordpress-tutorials\/add-plugin-wordpress\/\">how to add a plugin\u00a0to WordPres<\/a><a href=\"\/wordpress-tutorials\/add-plugin-wordpress\/\">s<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter what you are trying to achieve, in WordPress, you have a\u00a0vast selection of plugins to choose from. We&#8217;ll show you how to use one of them. Of course, you can use the one you find most convenient.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3: Add the Google Analytics Code in WordPress<\/h2>\n<p>Again, we presume that you are already familiar with <a href=\"\/wordpress-tutorials\/first-steps-part-2\/\">WordPress\u00a0plugins<\/a>, what they do, and how to install them. We\u2019ve chosen to show you how to do this operation by using a plugin named Analytics.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/analytics-plugin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"543\" height=\"234\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Install and activate the plugin. Afterward, you will find it in\u00a0Settings-&gt;Google Analytics Code.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/google-analytics-code-plugin-e1499677133987.png\" alt=\"Google Analytics on WordPress\" width=\"318\" height=\"636\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With this plugin you can either add the\u00a0Tracking ID\u00a0&#8211; it should look like this UA-12345678-1. This option is the first that the plugin will suggest. This ID you can find almost on every page of the Google Analytics Dashboard. Copy and paste it in the bar of the plugin. Click\u00a0Save.\u00a0You are ready!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/automatically-generate-google-analytics-code.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/automatically-generate-google-analytics-code.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"655\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Or, if you prefer, you can click on\u00a0Manually paste Google Analytics Code,\u00a0and copy the code, instead of the ID. Again, the code you should paste here is the one you received when you first entered the Analytics program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/google-analytics-code.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/google-analytics-code.png\" alt=\"Google Analytics Tracking\" width=\"1081\" height=\"291\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is what the code you are looking for should looks like. \u00a0If you haven&#8217;t left the first page that Analytics presented to you, you will find the code there. Mark. Copy. Paste. Done!<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, you will find the code in the sidebar menu of Google Analytics by following the steps Admin-&gt;Tracking info-&gt;Tracking Code.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have the code copied.
