Essentially this is a number of windows. On the top, you&#8217;ll be greeted by the\u00a0<strong>Welcome to WordPress!<\/strong> opening. Below it, you see other windows such as\u00a0<strong>At a Glance<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>WordPress News<\/strong>, and <strong>Activity.\u00a0<\/strong>But you could also see the\u00a0<strong>new comments<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>make a quick draft<\/strong>\u00a0for a post.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Step 1: Choose Which Windows You Want to Appear on Your Dashboard<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/wordpress-dashboard-screen-options-button.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7206 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/wordpress-dashboard-screen-options-button.png\" alt=\"Customize WordPress Dashboard\" width=\"1917\" height=\"894\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the upper right end of the screen, just below the admin bar, you&#8217;ll find two buttons. One that says\u00a0<strong>Help<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Screen Options<\/strong>\u00a0one. After clicking on\u00a0<strong>Screen Options,\u00a0<\/strong>a\u00a0panel will show up. Here you can check and uncheck the different information windows in order to show or hide them.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/dashboard-screen-options-wordpress.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7207 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/dashboard-screen-options-wordpress.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1726\" height=\"146\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Step 2: Rearrange the Windows You&#8217;ve Decided to be Shown<\/h2>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve checked or unchecked the windows you want to see they&#8217;ll show or hide automatically. You won&#8217;t have to click save, or something like that. If you want to rearrange them, you can do so by just simply drag-and-dropping them around the screen.<br \/>\nAs you can see, the windows titles\u00a0are separated from their content by a tiny line.
