Open the <strong>File<\/strong> menu and click <strong>Add Account<\/strong>. Select the <strong>Manual setup or additional server types<\/strong> checkbox and press <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/email-account-settings-3.png\" alt=\"email account settings 3\" \/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>On the next page, you will be prompted to choose a service (account) type. Mark the <strong>POP or IMAP<\/strong> checkbox and press <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/email-account-settings-4.png\" alt=\"email account settings 4\" \/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter the following email connection settings:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your Name<\/strong>: Give your account a name (for example, John Smith)<br \/>\n<strong>Email Address<\/strong>: Enter your AwardSpace.com email account&#8217;s full address (for example, name@yourdomain.com)<br \/>\n<strong>Account Type<\/strong>: IMAP<br \/>\n<strong>Incoming mail server<\/strong>: mboxhosting.com (if you are on a free plan, please use free.mboxhosting.com)<br \/>\n<strong>Outgoing mail server (SMTP)<\/strong>: mboxhosting.com (if you are on a free plan, please use free.mboxhosting.com)<br \/>\n<strong>User Name<\/strong>: name@yourdomain.com<br \/>\n<strong>Password<\/strong>: The password for name@yourdomain.com<br \/>\n<strong>Remember password<\/strong>: Must be checked<br \/>\n<strong>Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)<\/strong>: Must be unchecked<\/p>\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/email-account-settings-5.png\" alt=\"email account settings 5\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Please make sure you replace <strong>name@yourdomain.com<\/strong> with your AwardSpace.com email account!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Next, click the <strong>More Settings<\/strong> button and open the <strong>Outgoing Server<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/email-account-settings-6.png\" alt=\"email account settings 6\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Tick the <strong>My outgoing server (SMTP) requires an authentication<\/strong> checkbox. Choose\u00a0&#8220;<strong>Use the same settings as my incoming mail server&#8221;<\/strong> and press <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: If you wish to connect to your mail server securely (over SSL), open the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> tab and change the IMAP and SMTP server ports, to 993 and 465 respectively.
