  1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Click on Tools from the top bar and select the Account Settings\u2026 from the drop-down menu<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Click on the Account Actions button on the bottom left corner of the Account Settings window and press Add Mail Account<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Fill in the following information in the forms:
    \n<\/strong>Your name<\/em>: (Your first and last names or your company name)
    \nE-mail address<\/em>: anything@yourdomain.ext
    \nPassword<\/em>: Your email password
    \nClick Continue<\/li>\n
  5. Fill in the following information in the forms<\/strong>:
    \nUsername<\/em>: anything@yourdomain.ext
    \nFor premium hosting clients<\/span>:
    \nIncoming mail (IMAP) server<\/em>: IMAP 995 mboxhosting.com
    \nOutgoing mail (SMTP) server<\/em>: SMTP 465 mboxhosting.com
    \nFor free hosting clients<\/span>:
    \nIncoming mail (IMAP) server<\/em>: IMAP 995 free.mboxhosting.com
    \nOutgoing mail (SMTP) serve<\/em>r: SMTP 465 free.mboxhosting.com
    \nClick Re-test Configuration and then click on the Create Account button<\/li>\n
  6. When the email account is added you would need to change the SMTP settings for your email account<\/strong>.
    \nGo to Account Settings\u2026 as described in section 2 but this time click on the Outgoing Server (SMTP) from the left-hand side of the Account Settings window and then press the Edit button for your outgoing mail server \u2013 mboxhosting.com or free.mboxhosting.com<\/li>\n
  7. Fill in the following information in the forms<\/strong>:
    \nDescription<\/em>: anything@yourdomain.ext
    \nThe server name and Port should be correct according to section 5
    \nConnection security<\/em>: SSL
    \nAuthentication method<\/em>: Password, transmitted securely
    \nUser Name<\/em>: anything@yourdomain.ext
    \nClick the OK button<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. The configured in section 7 SMTP details should be updated by going to the Account Settings of the email account anything@yourdomain.ext by simply clicking on it from the left-hand side of the window.
    \nAt the bottom of the mainframe, you should select anything@yourdomain.ext \u2013 mboxhosting.com (for paid clients) or free.mboxhosting.com (for free clients) as your Outgoing Server (SMTP) and start using your email account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
