If your website\u2019s timezone is not the correct one, you may find yourself in a situation where a post that you expect to be published at a particular time, won\u2019t be. Depending on your original timezone, the scheduled posts may be published before or after the time you expect them to be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to Change the Timezone of Your WordPress Website<\/h2>\n<p>As always, we\u2019ll follow a few steps to achieve the wanted result. Obviously, the first thing we need to do is to <a href=\"\/wordpress-tutorials\/enter-wordpress-admin-panel\/\">enter the admin panel of WordPress<\/a>. And here are the steps to follow:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>1. Go to your WordPress Settings area.<\/h3>\n<p>Now that you are in your WordPress dashboard click on the\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>, then click\u00a0<strong>General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-43195 size-full alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/settings-general.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"319\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>2. Select the Correct Timezone<\/h3>\n<p>When you click on the <strong>General <\/strong>button, a new page will load. Scroll down until you see the section labeled <strong>Timezone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-43196 size-full alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/general-settings-timezone.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"705\" height=\"875\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By default WordPress is using the <strong>Coordinated<\/strong> <strong>Universal<\/strong> <strong>Time + 0<\/strong>, a.k.a. UTC+0<strong>. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here you should choose the UTC + X, which corresponds with your country\u2019s(or city\u2019s) timezone.<\/p>\n<p>Under the dropdown menu, where you choose the time, you can see the current UTC time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-43197 size-full alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/UTC-time.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"674\" height=\"88\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>3.
