(Do not have an e-mail account yet? You can easily set up one by following the steps in our <a href=\"\/kb\/create-email-account\/\">Creating an Email Account<\/a> tutorial.)<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Information<\/strong> link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/email-account-settings-1-1.png\" alt=\"email account settings 1\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Your account settings will be displayed in the <strong>E-mail Settings<\/strong> pane (as shown below).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/email-account-settings-1.png\" alt=\"email account settings 2\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Below you are provided with a list of default email settings in a text format.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mail server address<\/strong>: mboxhosting.com (if you own a free account, please use free.mboxhosting.com)<br \/>\n<strong>Port number<\/strong>: 25 or 587<br \/>\n<strong>Username<\/strong>: name@yourdomain.com<br \/>\n<strong>Password<\/strong>: the password for your e-mail account<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>IMAP\/POP3 Settings<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mail server address<\/strong>: mboxhosting.com (if you own a free account, please use free.mboxhosting.com)<br \/>\n<strong>Port number<\/strong>: For IMAP, please use 143. For POP3, please configure port 110 in your email client program.<br \/>\n<strong>Username<\/strong>: name@yourdomain.com<br \/>\n<strong>Password<\/strong>: the password for your e-mail account<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Our SMTP mail server <u>requires authentication<\/u>, so please make sure you have that option enabled in your mail program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Does Your Mail Server Support SSL Connections?<\/h2>\n<p>SSL can be enabled <u>on all mobile devices and desktop applications<\/u>.
