{"id":12845,"date":"2017-09-12T16:03:21","date_gmt":"2017-09-12T16:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.awardspace.com\/?page_id=12845"},"modified":"2024-02-27T13:25:21","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T13:25:21","slug":"manage-dns-records","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.awardspace.com\/kb\/manage-dns-records\/","title":{"rendered":"How to manage DNS records?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How Can I Access the DNS Management Area?<\/h2>\n<p>The DNS Management area is the place where you can perform various modifications to your DNS settings, such as editing, adding, and deleting DNS records.<\/p>\n<p>To access the DNS Management area of your account, please follow the steps listed below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to your AwardSpace hosting account through the <a href=\"\/user-login\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">login page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cp1.awardspace.net\/beta\/domain-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Domain Manager<\/a> section<\/li>\n<li>Open the <strong>DNS<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a class=\"et_pb_lightbox_image\" title=\"dns records\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/dns-records-1.png\" data-featherlight=\"image\"> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15434 aw-border-img alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/dns-records-1.png\" alt=\"dns records 1\" \/> <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Custom DNS record changes are only available to customers who have a premium hosting plan and to those who have registered\/transferred their domain name with\/to us.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How Can I Modify My DNS Records?<\/h2>\n<p>You can edit your domain&#8217;s DNS records at any time by using the <strong>Domain Manager<\/strong> and going to the <strong>DNS<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et_pb_lightbox_image\" title=\"dns records\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/dns-records-2.png\" data-featherlight=\"image\"> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15434 aw-border-img alignnone\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/dns-records-2.png\" alt=\"dns records 2\" \/> <\/a><\/p>\n<p>To add a new DNS record, click on the <strong>Add New<\/strong> button and press <strong>Save<\/strong>. To delete a record from your DNS, click <strong>Delete<\/strong>.
